Applications are now open for the Community Services board. This board will advise on projects that benefit resident quality of life such as Parks & Recreation and the use of Recreation, Arts, & Parks (RAP) Tax dollars.

The Eagle Mountain Youth Council is hosting a free Valentine`s Sweethearts Dance for youth aged 14-18 tonight, Feb. 6 from 7-9:30 p.m. at the Overland Barn.
Bring a date or come stag and dance the night away! Refreshments will be served.

The Eagle Mountain City Council appointed a new City Recorder and new boards and commissions members during last night`s City Council meeting.
Lacie Messerly was appointed to the position of City Recorder by Council Resolution and was administered the Oath of Office by Mayor Jared Gray.
Marcia Vasquez was appointed to a three-year term on the Library Board, serving through the Dec. 2028. Mandy Lane was appointed to the Planning Commission, serve a one-year term through Dec. 2026. Chad Decoursey was also appointed to the Planning Commission, serving as an alternate for a three-year term through Dec. 2028. Each appointee was administered the Oath of Office by City Recorder Lacie Messerly.
Eagle Mountain is excited to work with each of these individuals as we continue to serve our residents. Welcome to the team!

Punxsutawney Phil may have predicted six more weeks of wintry weather, but it doesn`t appear Eagle Mountain got the memo. 😅☀️
However, residents can rest assured that if winter does make an appearance, our salt trucks and snow plows are gassed up and ready to keep our community`s streets clear and safe!

Today marks 12 years since Sgt. Cory B. Wride was killed in the line of duty while assisting a vehicle on the side of the road.
Eagle Mountain will always remember and honor Sgt. Wride for his sacrifice and his dedication to serving our community.
