During the regularly scheduled City Council meeting on March 3, the public witnessed the recognition of two staff members.
David Salazar accepted both the Outstanding Intersection Achievement Award and the Outstanding City Engineer Award. These awards recognize the positive impact of the EM Blvd. & Pony Express Pkwy. traffic signal and his dedicated years of service thus far, respectively. Both awards were given by the Utah Chapter of APWA.
Stormwater Manager Larry Diamond received the Certified Stormwater Manager (CSM) through the American Public Works Association. As of today, Diamond is the only person in the state of Utah who has completed the knowledge exam portion and holds the Certified Stormwater Manager designation.
Congratulations to both on their accomplishments!
During the March 3 City Council meeting, several residents were sworn in to the Senior Advisory Board and the newly formed, Community Services Board. We wish them all the best throughout their terms of service!

Debra Kimbrough – Three-year Term, April 2026 through March 2029
Community Services Board:
Jay Johnson – One-year Term, April 2026 through March 2027
ShaRee Curtis – Two-year Term, April 2026 through March 2028
Charlotte Ducos – Two-year Term, April 2026 through March 2028
Steve Conger – Three-year Term, April 2026 through March 2029
Jessie Southworth – Three-year Term, April 2026 through March 2029

Update: The issue has been isolated from homes and water pressure should be restored.
We recently found that a contractor hit a main water line causing low water pressure in and around the Meadow Ranch and Spring Run areas. We have crews actively working on getting the break fixed. We apologize for any inconvenience.
