Get to know who’s on your ballot at Eagle Mountain’s “Meet the Candidates” night on Thursday, July 10 at the Overland Barn. This informal open house is your chance to talk one-on-one with the individuals running for Mayor, City Council, and the Lake Mountain School Board. Ask questions, hear their priorities, and learn where they stand on the issues that matter to you.

The event is free, nonpartisan, and open to everyone in the community. It’s hosted in partnership with the Cedar Valley PTA and Eagle Mountain City to encourage civic engagement.

The Food Truck Rally will also be located at the Overland Barn parking lot, so make it a night out with food and conversation that matters.

Fireworks are part of the fun, but safety comes first. Eagle Mountain’s 2025 fireworks restrictions are now in effect for July 4 & 24. Some areas have changed slightly from last year, so be sure to check the interactive map before lighting anything:

The playground at Woodhaven Park will be closed June 28–30 for surfacing repairs. Crews will be working throughout the weekend to improve safety and ensure a better experience for everyone.
