Unified Fire Authority
Providing fire protection, ambulance, and quality emergency services
Responding to Your Emergency Needs
Eagle Mountain City knows that safety is a top priority, and we’re proud to team up with Unified Fire Authority (UFA) to provide fire and ambulance service throughout the community’s special service district. We are committed to ensuring that every resident has access to prompt and reliable emergency assistance. For emergencies, please dial 911.
Ensuring Safety
Burn Permits
Before burning weeds and debris on your property, you’ll need both a Utah Department of Air Quality (DAQ) open burn permit and a UFA-issued burn permit. There are two open burn periods each year: March 30 – May 30 and Sept. 15 – Oct. 30.
More Than Fire Emergencies
UFA has been serving Eagle Mountain for many years and has grown alongside us to meet the needs of the community. UFA currently runs three fire stations around the city, offering a full range of services, including: fire suppression, wildland incident management, advanced life support, hazardous materials response, and emergency management. For non-emergency situations, you can call (801) 794-3970.
E-Bike & E-Scooter Safety
E-bikes and e-scooters are becoming an increasingly common way to get around our community. While they can be fun and convenient, they also come with real responsibilities and risks.
In this video, we cover important safety tips for riders and families, including choosing the right protective equipment, riding defensively, staying aware of your surroundings, and following traffic laws and local regulations.
Parents and younger riders should take extra care to understand the potential dangers. A properly fitted helmet is an important first step in protecting against serious injury, but safe riding also means knowing the rules and making responsible decisions every time you ride.
Whether you’re on an e-bike, e-scooter, or another electric vehicle, slow down, stay alert, respect others on the road and trails, and make safety a priority.
Together, we can help make sure everyone gets where they’re going safely.
