Cory B. Wride Memorial Park

Spanning dozens of acres along Pony Express Parkway, Cory B. Wride Memorial Park is one of Eagle Mountain’s largest and most popular destinations for family recreation. The park is anchored by a sprawling playground packed with slides, swings, zip lines, a bridge, a cargo net, rope climbers, and musical play equipment, alongside an all-abilities play area designed so children of every need can join the fun. Sports enthusiasts will find pickleball, tennis, basketball courts, and baseball fields, while a paved walking loop circles the grounds for an easy stroll.

cory-b-wride-memorial-park-splash-pad

In the summer months, the park’s splash pad is a favorite way to cool off, open daily from 10 AM to 8 PM between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Two pavilions (one small & one large) and an expansive festival field make the park a natural gathering spot for birthday parties, reunions, and community events. The park is dog-friendly, and leashed dogs are welcome throughout the grounds (though not on the splash pad).

Firefly Bike Park

Looking for a thrill close to home? Firefly Bike Park sits on a hilltop west of the White Hills, where three downhill runs launch from a shared starting point and head off in very different directions. First-timers can ease into the sport on Firefly, the gentlest of the three, while experienced riders can test their nerve on Fireball, packed with banked turns, drops, and jumps. After each run, Fire Up carries riders back to the top on an uphill-only trail that welcomes Class 1 e-bikes, making it easy to keep the laps coming.

Mountain Ranch Bike Park

Mountain Ranch Bike Park is the first of its kind on the Wasatch Front. It spans 30 acres and features three jump lines, a slope style track, a single track, a skills area with 200 yards of wood features, a teeter-totter, a pump track, a beginner trail, and an uphill trail.

You can find the main entrance at 3450 Golden Eagle Road. Parking for the bike park is allowed on Golden Eagle Road, but not in adjacent neighborhoods. Admission is free.

This bike park was created in partnership with the Wasatch Area Freeride Trails Association (WAFTA) and resident volunteers.

Pony Express Memorial Regional Park

Pony Express Memorial Regional Park honors the historic Pony Express route that once crossed our valley and today serves as a hub for sports and large community celebrations. The park is home to the Pony Express Memorial Arena, a baseball diamond, the Pony Express Skate Park, and the adjacent Pony Express Memorial Cemetery, with parking, and dog-friendly walking areas throughout.

The park is also home to Eagle Mountain’s Dog Park, a dedicated off-leash space where four-legged residents can run and play, making it a favorite stop for local dog owners. Whether you’re catching a ball game, practicing skate tricks, or letting the dog burn off energy, this park sits at the heart of community life.

Smith Ranch Regional Park

Smith Ranch Regional Park is a sprawling activity hub made up of five distinct park sections linked by a single looping walking trail dotted with covered picnic benches. Families can move from one area to the next to enjoy multiple playgrounds, a ninja-style obstacle course, and wide-open grassy fields perfect for soccer, frisbee, or a casual game of catch. The playground offers inclusive equipment designed for all children, so everyone has a place to play.

The park is also home to the Smith Ranch Skate Park, a modern concrete facility with a deep bowl, flowing transitions, banks, ledges, rails, and street-style features that challenge skaters of every skill level. Restrooms, shaded areas, picnic pavilions, and ample parking round out the amenities, and leashed dogs are welcome along the walking trail and throughout the park, making Smith Ranch an easy choice for an outing.

Community parks

Brandon Community Park

Located at 4623 N Brandon Park Drive, Brandon Community Park is a neighborhood favorite for anyone who loves a good game. The park features eight outdoor pickleball courts with permanent nets and lines, making it one of the most popular places in Eagle Mountain to get a match going. The courts are free to use, and restrooms are on site for visitors’ convenience.

Basketball courts and open green space give families and friends plenty of room to shoot hoops, toss a ball, or spread out a blanket. Leashed dogs are welcome, and the park is open daily from 10 AM until sunset.

Firefly Regional Park

Tucked into the Firefly community, Firefly Regional Park is a lively outdoor hub for active families. The park is home to the Firefly Skate Park at 3405 Firefly Boulevard, a wheels park where skaters and riders of every skill level can roll in and practice their tricks. A bike pump track and miles of connecting trails make it easy to stretch out a visit, whether you’re on two wheels, two feet, or a scooter.

Neighborhood playgrounds and pickleball and basketball courts round out the amenities, giving everyone from little ones to teens a reason to head over. Leashed dogs are welcome, and with the park open daily from 10 AM until sunset, it’s an easy choice for an after-school adventure or a weekend outing.

Nolen Park & Nolen Park East

Tucked into a quiet residential neighborhood, Nolen Park is a welcoming spot for families. The park features baseball diamonds, a playground, and clean restrooms, with plenty of open space for everyday play and weekend practices. Leashed dogs are welcome.

Silver Lake Amphitheater & Park

Set against a natural hillside with sweeping views of the Wasatch Front and Utah Lake, Silver Lake Amphitheater & Park is one of Eagle Mountain’s most scenic gathering places. The outdoor amphitheater features tiered, general-admission lawn seating with room for thousands, making it a striking backdrop for concerts, movie nights, and community events throughout the year.

Silver-Lake-Amphitheater

Beyond the stage, the park offers a playground, a pavilion for barbecues, restrooms, a relaxing seating area, and a dog-friendly trail where leashed pups are welcome, all designed to be accessible to visitors of all abilities. It’s a year-round destination, a place for kids to play and picnic in the summer and a favorite sledding hill once the snow arrives.

Silver Lake Woodhaven Park

Silver Lake Woodhaven Park, at 7415 N Silver Park Drive, is a quiet green space made for unhurried time outdoors. A walking trail winds through the park and is smooth enough for strollers and bikes, and a wide, open field gives toddlers and preschoolers plenty of room to run, tumble, and explore. Set back from the street, it feels more spacious than a typical neighborhood park.

Sweetwater Park

Sweetwater Park is a cozy neighborhood spot where Eagle Mountain’s littlest residents take center stage. Toddlers and preschoolers will find play features sized just for them, while parents can relax nearby and keep an easy eye on the fun. When it’s time to refuel, the park’s covered pavilion and grill set the scene for casual cookouts and pint-sized celebrations.

Sweetwater-Park

A few things to know before you go: restrooms and a marked walking path aren’t part of this park, and the play area sits out in the sun, so pack hats and sunscreen on warm days. Leashed dogs are welcome, and the park is open daily from 10 AM until sunset.

Bike Parks

Mountain Ranch Bike Park

Spread across 30 acres, Mountain Ranch Bike Park was a Wasatch Front pioneer, the first park of its kind in the region. Riders can hit three jump lines, a slopestyle course, and a single track, then sharpen their skills in the skills area, which has 200 yards of wooden features and a teeter-totter. A pump track keeps the momentum going, while a beginner trail and an uphill trail give newer riders and climbers a place to roll, too.

Enter at 3450 Golden Eagle Road, where parking is available along the street. Please don’t park in the adjacent neighborhoods. Admission is free.

Firefly Bike Park

Downhill fans, this one’s for you. Firefly Bike Park is built into the slopes just west of the White Hills, with three descents that begin side by side at the top. Riders who are new to downhill can start on the trail named Firefly, a mellow, beginner-friendly route. Those craving more speed and air can head for Fireball, an expert run with berms, drops, and jumps. When the ride ends, Fire Up is the way back, a climb-only trail where Class 1 e-bikes are allowed, so you can head straight up for another go.

Firefly Pump Track

Firefly Pump Track is a continuous loop of rolling bumps and banked turns, built for riders who want to carry speed by “pumping” their bike up and down instead of pedaling. It’s a fun spot to practice balance, bike handling, and flow, and the track rewards smooth technique over pedal power. Whether you’re just learning the basics or chasing a faster lap, it’s an easy place to put in some quick, repeatable laps.
