Eagle Mountain is making moves to protect what matters most: Our open spaces.
On Tuesday, April 15, the City Council reviewed a new Open Space Management Plan—a forward-thinking strategy to preserve, maintain and enhance our natural areas.
This proposed plan is all about protecting the beauty and ecological value of the landscapes that make Eagle Mountain so unique.
Why does this matter? Because we know how much our residents value open space for hiking, biking and exploring. These areas support local wildlife, offer outdoor recreation and connect us to the natural world.
The plan outlines steps to:
– Manage sensitive areas like Tickville Gulch responsibly
– Remove invasive weeds and restore native plants
– Create safe, City-sanctioned trails
– Protect wildlife migration routes
This is just the beginning of a long-term commitment to making sure open space remains a defining part of life in Eagle Mountain.
We know how much you value Eagle Mountain`s open space. We do it For You.

Still has open spaces with outdoor recreation opportunities and still a safe place for wildlife. I hope that never changes. I love that my kids can leave the house and have outdoor adventures in the hills.
We love Eagle Mountain. It has the small, close-knit feel but is close to everything.
Eagle Mountain has been a great place to live. I love the open space for hiking, biking, and exploring nature with my kids in our own backyard. The area is kid-friendly with plenty of parks.
