Eagle Mountain City is introducing an eco-friendly way to manage our open space: goats!

Starting in mid-March, we'll use goats to help control plant growth, reduce fire risks, and promote healthier ecosystems. This approach supports our commitment to maintaining Eagle Mountain's natural beauty and has the added benefit of potentially reducing tumbleweeds.

By using goats to graze on invasive weeds and undesirable plants, we’re avoiding harmful chemicals and promoting soil health. Local goat owners will also get involved, contributing to the stewardship of our land. Keep an eye out for our four-legged helpers through September! Eagle Mountain loves our open spaces. We manage them well For You.

Today marks 11 years since Sgt. Cory Wride was killed in the line of duty. His legacy lives on in Eagle Mountain through the park and highway named in his honor. “Our hope is that everyone knows who Cory Wride is and was, learns about his life, and appreciates and respects his sacrifice,” says Sgt. Max Morgan.

Still has open spaces with outdoor recreation opportunities and still a safe place for wildlife. I hope that never changes. I love that my kids can leave the house and have outdoor adventures in the hills.

We love Eagle Mountain. It has the small, close-knit feel but is close to everything.

Eagle Mountain has been a great place to live. I love the open space for hiking, biking, and exploring nature with my kids in our own backyard. The area is kid-friendly with plenty of parks.
