Pony Express Days Parade Route Change

The parade for the 2026 Pony Express Days will follow a new route to improve safety and event flow.

The updated route was selected to improve overall visibility, reduce traffic conflicts, and allow for better control of intersections and pedestrian crossings.

It also enhances emergency access by maintaining clearer entry and exit points for first responders, if needed during the event. Additionally, the route allows for more effective placement of barricades, signage, and staffing, ensuring that both participants and spectators are well-supported along the entire path.

By centralizing the parade around the park, where most activities are taking place, it will be easier for attendees to travel between locations. This helps minimize congestion, improves pedestrian flow, and creates a more contained and manageable event footprint.

The parade will begin at Pony Express Parkway and Mid Valley Road, head south, turn right onto Aviator Avenue, and end at Eagle Mountain Boulevard. Seating will be on the west side of Pony Express Parkway and both sides of Aviator Avenue.

Cedar Valley High School entries will conclude at Cedar Valley High School rather than the main parade endpoint. If you are hoping to see the Cedar Valley High School band or school entries, we recommend finding a viewing spot before the high school to ensure you don’t miss them.

All other parade entries will continue to the official parade end point at Aviator Ave and Eagle Mountain Blvd.
