Eagle Mountain City Scorpion Hunt

Eagle Mountain City is inviting residents to explore the local environment after dark during an upcoming family-friendly scorpion hunt. The event is hosted in partnership with Mucky Boot Pest Control and the Eagle Mountain Nature & Wildlife Alliance.

Safety Briefing Required

The evening will begin with a required safety briefing at 8:30 PM in the Eagle Mountain City Hall Council Chambers. Participants must attend the briefing before heading out for the hunt.

During the briefing, participants will learn how to safely search for scorpions, what to watch for while exploring at night, and what other wildlife they may encounter.

What to Bring

• Long pants
• Closed-toe shoes
• Regular flashlight
• Black light/UV flashlight
• Leather gloves
• Bucket

Participants should come prepared for an evening outdoors and be ready to follow all safety guidance provided during the event.
