Eagle Mountain Library’s Noon Year’s Eve brings New Year’s to families
For children who dream of the magic of New Year’s Eve but can’t quite make it to midnight, the Eagle Mountain Public Library has the perfect solution.
On Dec. 31, families are invited to ring in 2025 at the library’s Noon Year’s Eve celebration, where the excitement of the holiday is reimagined for young revelers.
“We love giving kids a chance to experience the thrill of a countdown and all the New Year traditions in a way that works for them,” shares Dulce Blanco, a clerk at the library.
The event, held in the Eagle Mountain City Council Chambers, will feature all the hallmarks of a classic New Year’s celebration: a countdown to noon, a festive balloon drop, and a lively dance party.
To top it off, kids will have the chance to enjoy crafts, games and an animated story designed to spark their imaginations.
“It’s such a joyful atmosphere,” says Mandy Paice, the library’s lead programmer. “We’ve planned activities for kids of all ages, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
The library’s Noon Year’s Eve has become a favorite among Eagle Mountain families, providing a chance to wrap up the year with community and fun.
Families are encouraged to arrive early, as the event is first-come, first-served, and space is limited. The countdown begins promptly leading up to Noon.
