Eagle Mountain City Proclaimed a Believer City

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the Eagle Mountain City Council approved a proclamation designating Eagle Mountain as a Believer City, recognizing the importance of fostering encouragement, connection, and hope throughout the community.
The designation is part of the Show Me A Sign initiative, a movement founded by Eagle Mountain resident, Ben Lyne. What began as one person running with a simple “I BELIEVE IN YOU” sign to encourage strangers has grown into a national effort focused on spreading hope and reminding people that they matter.
Through the Believer City designation, Eagle Mountain affirms its commitment to:
- Promoting encouragement, connection, and hope throughout the community.
- Exploring opportunities to make messages of belief visible in appropriate public spaces and community activities.
- Supporting initiatives that inspire residents to encourage and uplift one another.
- Encouraging civic engagement, volunteerism, and community pride through positive action and service.
- Fostering a culture where every individual feels valued, supported, and capable of making a meaningful difference.
The proclamation encourages individuals to look for simple ways to support one another and contribute positively to the community.
