Eagle Mountain City Council Meeting July 7: What’s on the Agenda

The Eagle Mountain City Council meets tonight, Tuesday, July 7, at the City Council Chambers, 1650 E. Stagecoach Run. The work session begins at 4:00 PM, followed by the policy session at 7:00 PM. Residents are invited to attend, and time is set aside for public comment during the policy session.

Work Session Highlights (4:00 PM)

The Council will hear discussion items including a legislative update, an overview of the City’s land disposal process, a look at the Off-Street Trails Master Plan, and a proposed first amendment to the Brylee Farms Phase B Development Agreement. The Council will then adjourn to a closed session before the evening meeting.

The Council will consider an ordinance amending residential parking regulations, aimed at addressing unlicensed vehicles and trailers parked in residential zones and reducing the parking time limit on public streets. The Council will also discuss a proposed citywide speed management study to evaluate key roadway segments and intersections ahead of future traffic planning.

Tonight’s meeting also includes presentation of the Rotary Club of Lehi Mayor’s Cup Award, a proclamation declaring Eagle Mountain a Believer City, and one-year appointments for Jessi Call and Angeline Washburn. The consent agenda includes resolutions approving a medium park in Overland Village 2 Phase B, amendments to agreements with White Hills Water Company and Eagle Quest East, and renewal of the city’s legislative consulting agreement.

Public comment is welcome during the policy session. In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the City will make reasonable accommodations for participation—call the City Recorder’s Office at 801-789-6611 at least three working days before a meeting.

Public comments may be submitted online before the meeting begins. Online submissions must be received by 4:00 PM on the day of the meeting. If you would like to speak about an item that is not listed on the meeting agenda, you may do so during the public comment portion of the meeting.

This helps the meeting stay organized and ensures your comments are heard as part of the official record.
