Get to know who’s on your ballot at Eagle Mountain’s “Meet the Candidates” night on Thursday, July 10 at the Overland Barn. This informal open house is your chance to talk one-on-one with the individuals running for Mayor, City Council, and the Lake Mountain School Board. Ask questions, hear their priorities, and learn where they stand on the issues that matter to you.
The event is free, nonpartisan, and open to everyone in the community. It’s hosted in partnership with the Cedar Valley Council PTA and Eagle Mountain City to encourage civic engagement.
The Food Truck Rally will also be located at the Overland Barn parking lot, so make it a night out with food and conversation that matters.

The splash pad at Cory B. Wride Memorial Park is temporarily closed due to mechanical issues. The closure is expected to last at least two days while crews make repairs.
The Nolen Park splash pad will be open during this time.

Utility work along Pony Express Parkway will require lane shifts between Lake Mountain Road and Hidden Valley Parkway July 7-9 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Please use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns in the area.
On Tuesday, July 8, around 1,100 homes in the Overland area may experience temporary reduced water pressure during the same hours.
City staff will be coordinating closely with contractors to help minimize any disruption. We appreciate your patience during this time.

Join the community clothing swap to pick up free clothes, shoes, backpacks, and supplies. No donation needed to participate!

This November, Eagle Mountain voters will consider a RAP tax. It’s a small sales tax dedicated to funding local Recreation, Arts, and Parks.

Pony Express Parkway north bound will be closed July 2 from approximately the Lone Tree subdivision through the intersection at Hidden Valley Parkway to allow work on the water main at Hidden Valley Parkway. Plates will be in place over the weekend, which will allow traffic to flow normally. Signage will be posted to warn of a bump, slower speeds, and any alternate route patterns. Please exercise caution and plan your route accordingly.

Fireworks are part of the fun, but safety comes first. Eagle Mountain’s 2025 fireworks restrictions are now in effect for July 4 & 24. Some areas have changed slightly from last year, so be sure to check the interactive map before lighting anything:
