Utility work is coming to Pony Express Parkway, and it’s going to temporarily change how you get in and out of the Lone Tree subdivision from July 14 through 17.
Here’s the plan:
➡️ On July 14 and 15, Lone Tree Parkway will be closed during the day. You’ll need to use Red Pine Road to access the neighborhood.
➡️ Then on July 16 and 17, it flips. Red Pine Road will be closed, and you’ll use Lone Tree Parkway instead.
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. only, so entrances will be open and plated during the evenings and overnight to allow normal access.
We know detours can be a hassle, but this work is necessary to improve utility infrastructure along a major roadway. Thanks for your patience while our crews get it done safely and efficiently.

How do we build a better Eagle Mountain? One that supports recreation, arts, and parks for every chapter of life?
A proposed RAP (Recreation, Arts, and Parks) tax would generate funding for the very things that enrich a community. That includes trails, cultural opportunities, arts performances, and sports.
These funding decisions wouldn’t be made behind closed doors. A resident-led advisory board, made up of community members with a passion for recreation, arts, and parks, would provide guidance to the City Council on how to prioritize these dollars.
This is a thoughtful investment in Eagle Mountain’s future driven by local voices and designed to benefit every generation.
