After a fatal accident involving three year-old boys Odin Ratliff and Hunter Jackson, their families learned that when the unthinkable happens, the Eagle Mountain community shows its support. Nearly three years later, the community continues to love, support, and help these families move forward. We heart EM!

We’ve gotten to know a lot of you over the years — at events, during calls, or just waving from a patrol car. That trust matters. The Utah County Sheriff's Office will keep showing up, doing the work, and looking out for the safety of Eagle Mountain.

On Peace Officers Memorial Day, we pause to recognize those who’ve served with honor and thank those who continue to protect our community every day.

Join us for our next Wildlife and Nature Education class on Wednesday, May 21 at 7 p.m. at Eagle Mountain City Hall. Debbie Souza-Pappas from 2nd Chance Animal Rescue will share what to do (and what not to do) if you find an injured wild animal.

This is a great opportunity to learn how to protect local wildlife and safely support rehabilitation efforts.

Heading outside? Don’t forget the sunscreen! Even on cloudy days, up to 80% of UV rays still reach your skin.

Wearing SPF 30 or higher daily can:
- Reduce your risk of skin cancer by up to 50%
- Prevent premature aging, sunspots, and wrinkles
- Protect sensitive areas like your face, neck, and hands

Sun protection is for every day, not just lake days!

At Eagle Mountain, we love the outdoors—and protecting your skin means you can enjoy it safely, all year long.

Testimonials

Still has open spaces with outdoor recreation opportunities and still a safe place for wildlife. I hope that never changes. I love that my kids can leave the house and have outdoor adventures in the hills.

We love Eagle Mountain. It has the small, close-knit feel but is close to everything.

Eagle Mountain has been a great place to live. I love the open space for hiking, biking, and exploring nature with my kids in our own backyard. The area is kid-friendly with plenty of parks.
