City Council candidate debate takes place Wednesday

Eagle Mountain residents will have one more opportunity this month to hear directly from candidates seeking City Council seats.

The City Council Debate will take place Wednesday, Oct. 15, at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers. Residents are encouraged to submit questions in advance through the City’s online form.

Four candidates are competing for two open City Council seats: Emily Buss, Charlotte Ducos, Craig Whiting, and incumbent Brett Wright. The debate will offer voters a chance to compare each candidate’s approach to key issues.

Last Wednesday, the Mayoral Debate was held at Eagle Mountain City Hall, featuring candidates Melissa Clark and Jared Gray, who advanced beyond the primary election.
