As temperatures drop, the Winter Warming Center in Provo is preparing to open its doors for the season, providing a warm and safe place for individuals in need during the colder months.

The center opens Sunday, November 1, and will operate nightly through March 15. Located at 2615 S. State Street in Provo, the facility will be open from 8 PM to 8 AM each night, offering a place for individuals to find shelter from the cold.

How You Can Help

Community members can help support the Winter Warming Center and the individuals it serves in several ways.

Volunteer: The center offers three volunteer shifts each night and welcomes community members willing to give their time to help those in need. Volunteers can sign up through the Winter Warming Center volunteer registration page.

Donate Sleeping Mats: Sleeping mats provide a more comfortable place for individuals staying at the center. Community members can purchase a sleeping mat and have it shipped directly to the facility through the Winter Warming Center’s Amazon donation list.

Donate Snacks and Supplies: Donations of snacks and essential supplies help the center provide for those staying throughout the winter. Community members can contribute through the Winter Warming Center’s Amazon supplies list.

As winter approaches, community support plays an important role in helping ensure individuals have access to warmth and essential resources. Whether through volunteering or donating supplies, residents can make a meaningful difference for those in need this season.
