Thread & Yarn Club
Thread & Yarn Club (Ages 12+) Come join in with other members of the community to knit, crochet, cross stitch, etc. Bring a thread or yarn project you are working on or would like to begin. A member of our staff will be available for crochet questions.

Summer Reading Kick-Off
Our Summer Reading Kick-Off will be held at the Friends in Need Animal Sanctuary– 5194 N. Lake Mountain Rd. in City Center. June 9 from 10:15-11:15 a.m. Please bring carrots or celery if you would like to share a treat with the animals. Donations are appreciated but not required.

Storytime
Come to the park to enjoy interactive stories and songs. Adults are required to remain with their children and help them participate. Summer Story Times will be held under the pavilion at Walden Park–4437 Frontier Street in City Center.
Summer Craft
Summer Craft at the Library — Design wearable art using tiny safety pins, beads, and charms! In this fun, hands-on library program you’ll create unique accessories that show off your personal style. Ages 16 +, Supplies are limited. First come first served.
Family Yoga
Come enjoy some mindfulness under the trees at Nolen Park. We’ll be doing some breath exercises and gentle yoga for all ages. A yoga mat or towel is recommended. Nolen Park –7862 Tinamous Rd. in the Ranches.
Bookmark Bunch
Bookmark Bunch (Ages 8-12) is a creative book club for kids! Books will be chosen by each individual based on the topic of the month. June’s topic is “Summertime Adventures”. Join us for a fun discussion about our books and craft a themed bookmark.
Fossils & Geology
Dig into the past with our friends from Hutchings Museum! Join us for an exciting hands-on adventure into fossils, rocks, and geology. Discover amazing artifacts, explore real fossils up close, and learn how scientists uncover clues about Earth’s history. Please meet at Cory Wride Park –5806 Pony Express Pkwy. in City Center
Kids STEAM Club
Kids STEAM Lab (Ages 8-12) introduces children to Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts by doing hands on projects and experiments. This month we will be making contraptions to keep water aballoons from bursting when dropped from a ladder. Please meet at Walden Park –4437 Frontier Street in City Center.
Adult Book Club
June’s Book Club (Ages 18+) book choice is “No Two Persons” by Erica Bauermeister. Come enjoy a fun lively discussion with other readers. Copies of this book are available upon request at the library front desk.
Laptime
Laptime (Ages 0-24 months) teaches children about the value of books through short stories, songs, and fingerplays. Adults are required to remain in the programming room and help their child participate. Space is limited. Session 1 10:15-10:35 AM Session 211-11:20 AM
