Energy Town Hall explores safety of nuclear technology

Monday night’s Energy Town Hall in Eagle Mountain brought together experts, residents and City officials to discuss the potential integration of small modular nuclear reactors (SMRs) and other alternative energy sources within the city.

The Town Hall, held at Cedar Valley High School, featured a panel of experts who provided insights into the technological advancements, safety protocols, regulatory frameworks, and economic considerations associated with these energy solutions. The initiative aligns with Eagle Mountain’s proactive approach to address the growing energy demands of its rapidly expanding population and business sectors.
