American Legion Post 111 to Attend and Support Veterans
Members of American Legion Utah Post 111 will be joining the breakfast to connect with local veterans and their families and share information about the resources and support available through the organization.
American Legion Post 111 serves Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs, Fairfield, Cedar Fort, and unincorporated areas of northwest Utah County.
The American Legion is a nationwide veterans service organization dedicated to supporting veterans, active-duty military personnel, their families, and local communities. Its work includes four primary areas:
- Veterans Affairs and Rehabilitation: Helping veterans navigate VA healthcare, disability benefits, and other available services.
- Transition Assistance: Supporting service members as they transition from active duty to civilian life.
- Community Support: Building connections and supporting veterans and their families through local programs and activities.
- Advocacy: Working to protect and improve the benefits and services available to veterans and military families.
Veterans do not need to become members of the American Legion to seek assistance with its available services. The organization welcomes veterans and families who need support, regardless of whether they choose to join.
Connecting Veterans With Their Community
American Legion Post 111 provides opportunities for local veterans to connect with one another, participate in community activities, and access resources.
The post meets on the second Wednesday of each month at 7 PM at Heatherwood Commons Community Center, located at 3915 Atherton Lane in Eagle Mountain.
Veterans interested in learning more about the organization, its programs, or available resources can visit utlegion111.org or email utlegionpost111@gmail.com.
