Commuter update for MVC work in SS, Lehi
Drivers traveling between Eagle Mountain, Saratoga Springs and Lehi may experience delays this week due to ongoing Mountain View Corridor construction.
- Wednesday, Aug. 27: The left lane of southbound MVC in Herriman will be closed near Porter Rockwell Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Thursday, Aug. 28 (overnight): Both directions of MVC will close between Academy Parkway and Porter Rockwell Boulevard, along with Porter Rockwell Boulevard between MVC and Redwood Road, from 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. the next morning. Traffic will be detoured to 13400 South, Bangerter Highway, and Redwood Road.
Meanwhile, crews in Saratoga Springs placed a new pedestrian bridge over MVC last week, the third of five bridges planned for the corridor.
Commuters are encouraged to plan ahead, expect delays, and follow detour signage.
