Celebrate summer at the Summer Bash and Laser Show
Eagle Mountain City’s annual Summer Bash and Laser Show is back on Saturday, July 26 from 4 to 10 p.m. at Cory Wride Memorial Park, and it’s packed with activities the whole family will love.
“This is one of our favorite events of the year,” said Dawn Hancock, Eagle Mountain’s Events Manager. “It’s laid-back, family-friendly, and gives our residents a chance to just enjoy the community together with some amazing entertainment.”
The fun begins at 4 p.m. with an array of food trucks, a Farmer’s Market, bounce houses and a kids’ Patriotic Parade. Children are encouraged to wear their best red, white and blue and join the parade as it winds through the event grounds.
“Our kids’ parade is always a highlight,” Hancock said. “It’s simple, but it brings so much joy. We love seeing the creativity and spirit our youngest residents bring to it.”
The Farmer’s Market, open from 4 to 8 p.m., will feature handcrafted goods, local treats, and unique items from area vendors. Bounce houses will also be available during that time for hours of high-energy fun.
At 7 p.m., things get a little messy in the best way with the Pie-Eating Contest. Participants will face off for bragging rights and perhaps a little whipped cream on their noses.
Then, at 8:30 p.m., the evening ends with a high-energy performance by Trash Panda and a dazzling laser show lighting up the night sky.
“The laser show is such a fun twist on the traditional fireworks,” said Hancock. “It’s colorful and exciting. Having Trash Panda bring live music to the park just elevates the experience even more.”
