New south segment of Airport Rd. opening to local traffic as construction continues

A newly constructed segment of Airport Road on the south side will open to local traffic starting tomorrow. Striping work is scheduled for tonight June 30, and access to the old Airport Road will be closed until July 1 at 3 p.m. The new road is not yet open to through traffic as construction is still underway. The intersection striping will improve safety for those entering and exiting the area. The City anticipates opening the route to all traffic in the coming weeks.
