Irrigation line installation to affect LoneTree traffic
Beginning Monday, April 28, Eagle Mountain City crews will begin excavation work at the intersection of Lonetree Parkway and Pony Express Parkway to install a new irrigation water line.
The project is expected to take about one to one-and-a-half weeks to complete.
Due to the nature of the work and the location of the project, traffic control measures will be in place to help maintain safety and keep vehicles moving.
Drivers entering the subdivision via Lonetree Parkway will be detoured to Red Pine Road. However, vehicles exiting the subdivision will not be impacted and can continue using the intersection as normal.
This intersection serves as the main access point for the entire Lonetree neighborhood, and the City encourages residents to plan ahead, follow posted detour signs and allow extra travel time during the construction period.
The new water line is part of broader efforts to improve irrigation infrastructure and support the City’s long-term water management goals.
Residents are encouraged to review the attached traffic control map for details and follow the City’s What’s Happening page for additional information and changes.
