2025 Municipal Election candidates announced

Eagle Mountain City has released the list of candidates who have officially declared their candidacy for the 2025 municipal election. Positions up for election include Mayor and two seats on the City Council.

According to the declarations posted in accordance with Utah Code 20A-6-110, five individuals have filed to run for Mayor:

• Donna Rivera Burnham
• Melissa Clark
• Tom Westmoreland
• Duncan J. Searcy
• Jared R. Gray

In the City Council race, three candidates have declared their intent to run:

• Emily Buss
• Craig Whiting
• Brett L Wright
• Laura Jensen
• Oreta Tupola
• Charlotte Ducos

Candidate names are listed in accordance with the “Master Ballot Position List,” which determines the order in which names will appear on the official ballot.

The Municipal Primary Election will be held Tuesday, Aug. 12 with the Municipal General Election held Tuesday, Nov. 4.
