UDOT Announces Overnight and Daytime Lane Closures

UDOT alerted the Eagle Mountain community and those of the surrounding areas about upcoming lane closures. Commuters are encouraged to stay up to date on local projects, be alert, and follow posted signage.

Sept. 4: Porter Rockwell Boulevard, Herriman.

Beginning at 9 a.m., crews will pour the new deck for the pedestrian bridge over Porter Rockwell Boulevard. To complete this work, one travel lane at a time will be closed, with the closure shifting across the road as work progresses. At least one lane in each direction will remain open throughout the day.

All lane closures are expected to be complete by 3 p.m. Drivers are advised to watch for changing conditions and follow all posted traffic control devices. The new pedestrian bridge is nearing completion and will open for public use soon.

Sept. 5 (Overnight): Redwood Road, Bluffdale.

As early as 10 p.m., the right lane on southbound Redwood Road will be closed to allow crews to paint new lane striping. This closure will remain in place until 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Sept. 7 (Overnight): Redwood Road at 2100 North, Lehi.

From 10 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., both northbound and southbound lanes of Redwood Road will be fully closed at the 2100 North/Redwood Road intersection. This closure is necessary for the installation of new traffic signals.

Southbound drivers will be detoured to Mountain View Corridor (MVC), and northbound drivers will be detoured to 2100 North. Eastbound and westbound MVC and 2100 North will remain open to traffic.

All construction schedules are weather-dependent and subject to change.
