Eagle Mountain City is making it easier for public employees and other eligible applicants to achieve homeownership through its Mortgage Assistance Program.

This program provides up to $25,000 in assistance for first-time homebuyers who serve our community, including teachers, firefighters, and law enforcement officers. Public employees can also benefit from loan forgiveness incentives for long-term homeownership and employment. Funding is from state-authorized Redevelopment Agency dollars for affordable housing.

To give more people the opportunity to apply, the City is moving to a monthly application cycle starting in April. The first application period runs April 1-15, with additional chances to apply each month throughout 2025.

Join us at Cory Wride Memorial Park for Eagle Mountain City’s annual Easter Egg Hunt—our first big event of the year! The hunt begins at 10 a.m. sharp, so plan to arrive at least 20 minutes early to get ready.

This event features thousands of eggs and separate hunts for different age groups and abilities. Our adaptive egg hunt takes place on a paved surface for easy access, with prizes designed for a variety of needs.

New this year:
The Easter Bunny will be there for photos.
A Teen Easter Egg Hunt will take place from 8–9:30 p.m
Food trucks will be on-site, so stick around and grab a bite.
