Tooele Army Depot Announces Range Activity for April 8

Residents in Eagle Mountain may notice noise or smoke today as the Tooele Army Depot conducts scheduled operations on its North Range.

No operations will take place on the South Range in Rush Valley on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. However, activity is planned for the North Range and may be visible or audible in surrounding areas.

North Range operations are expected to occur between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and could generate intermittent noise and smoke that may be noticeable to nearby communities.

These activities are part of routine operations at the depot.

Residents who experience concerns related to noise are encouraged to report them. Reports can be submitted by calling 435-833-3300 or by emailing usarmy.tead.jmc.list.pao@army.mil. When filing a report, please include your name, phone number, email address, city, the time and date of the occurrence, number of occurrences, and the suspected source of the noise.
