Overnight lane closure on SR-73 for sewer manhole replacement

Eagle Mountain City’s Wastewater department will be conducting an overnight sewer manhole replacement on state Route 73 starting Wednesday, May 21.

The work will affect eastbound traffic on SR-73 approaching Ranches Pkwy., with the right travel lane closed to allow crews safe access to the manhole.

Traffic control measures, including cones and signage, will be set up beginning at 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday. All equipment and closures will be cleared by 5 a.m. the following morning, Thursday, May 22, to minimize disruption to morning commuters.

Drivers are encouraged to use caution when traveling through the area and to follow all posted signs. The closure is necessary to maintain and improve essential infrastructure.
