Overnight closure at Redwood Rd. and 2100 N. scheduled for Friday

an overnight closure at the intersection of Redwood Road and 2100 North this Friday, April 4.

The closure will be in effect from 10 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. as crews work to pour concrete for a new bridge over Redwood Road.

During this time, Redwood Road will be closed to all thru traffic, and left turns will not be permitted at the intersection. However, right turns will be maintained in all directions to help facilitate some movement through the area.

Drivers should plan ahead and expect delays, especially those traveling between Eagle Mountain and the rest of northern Utah County. Signed detour routes will be in place to guide motorists around the closure.

This work is part of ongoing infrastructure improvements aimed at easing congestion and enhancing traffic flow in the rapidly growing region. The new bridge is expected to improve connectivity and reduce delays at the busy intersection.

For residents commuting early Saturday morning, allowing extra travel time and considering alternate routes is advised. Stay informed by checking for updates from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) and local City announcements.
