Lane and overnight closures planned on Mountain View Corridor

Construction work on the Mountain View Corridor (MVC) will bring temporary lane and overnight closures in Herriman and Saratoga Springs this week, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 6.

Southbound Lane Closure – Herriman
Starting as early as 9 a.m. on Wednesday, the left lane of southbound MVC near the Porter Rockwell Boulevard intersection will be closed for approximately 1,000 feet. This daily closure will occur between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and is expected to remain in place through Saturday, Aug. 9. Crews will be paving the shoulder in the area as part of ongoing roadway improvements. Drivers are urged to reduce speed and use caution when traveling through the work zone.

Overnight Northbound Closure – Saratoga Springs
An overnight closure is scheduled for the northbound lanes of MVC between Pioneer Crossing and Redwood Road beginning Thursday, Aug. 7, at 10 p.m. The roadway will reopen by 5:30 a.m. the following morning. During the closure, all northbound traffic will be detoured to Pioneer Crossing and Redwood Road. Southbound MVC will remain open, and local roads including Harvest Moon Drive and Harvest Hills Boulevard will stay accessible for nearby residents.

This closure will allow crews to continue work on the new pedestrian bridge over MVC near Providence Drive.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and follow posted detour signage.
