EM gears up for 2nd annual Independence Day Fireworks Show
Eagle Mountain City is once again lighting up the night sky in celebration of Independence Day.
The second annual fireworks show will be held Friday, July 4, at Cory Wride Memorial Park, offering residents an evening of family-friendly entertainment, food, shopping and patriotic spirit.
“The atmosphere will be relaxed and festive,” Hancock said. “You can expect great food, fun music, and an absolutely spectacular fireworks show.”
The event opens to the public at 8 p.m., with fireworks beginning at 10 p.m. Seating is open on a first-come, first-served basis, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and plenty of red, white, and blue.
A seating map is available to help residents plan ahead.
Back for its second year, the celebration has grown slightly from its debut, with a few new touches to enhance the experience.
“This year we’re adding a handful of boutique vendors so residents can browse and shop while enjoying the music and food,” said Eagle Mountain Events Manager Dawn Hancock. “We’re still finalizing the vendor list, but we’re excited to support local small businesses.”
A selection of food trucks will also be onsite, offering a variety of meals and treats to suit all tastes. Instead of a live band, a DJ will keep the energy upbeat throughout the evening with a mix of live and patriotic music.
The fireworks display is produced by Dragon Dynamite Displays, a professional pyrotechnics compan. The show is fully synchronized to a patriotic soundtrack.
“Having a professional, Utah-based fireworks company gives us confidence in both the quality and safety of the show,” Hancock said. “They know how to put on something really special.”
Parking will be available at the park and nearby areas such as Frontier Middle School, but attendees are encouraged to arrive early to avoid congestion. The show is expected to draw thousands of local residents and visitors.
“This event is all about community,” said Hancock. “It’s a chance to celebrate together, to enjoy the summer night, and to make lasting memories. We’re proud to be hosting it again.”
