Eagle Mountain Municipal Primary Election results

Eagle Mountain residents are voting today in the Municipal Primary Election.

They are selecting which candidates will move forward to the November Municipal General Election. Five candidates are running for Mayor, and six are vying for two City Council seats. The two mayoral candidates with the highest votes will advance, along with the top four candidates for City Council.

How to Vote

Vote Centers are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12. The Eagle Mountain Vote Center is located at The Barn at Overland, 1713 Erickson Knoll Lane. Ballots can also be dropped off at the Drop Box at Eagle Mountain City Hall, 1650 E. Stagecoach Run. To be counted, ballots must be dropped off by 8 p.m.

Jared R. Gray – 34.02% (1,429 votes)
Melissa Clark – 29.37% (1,234 votes)
Tom Westmoreland – 14.64% (615 votes)
Donna Rivera Burnham – 12.16% (511 votes)
Duncan J. Searcy – 9.81% (412 votes)

City Council (2 seats, 4 advance to November):
Brett L. Wright – 24.49% (1,849 votes)
Craig Whiting – 23.30% (1,759 votes)
Emily Buss – 17.06% (1,288 votes)
Charlotte Ducos – 17.06% (1,288 votes)
Laura Jensen – 12.53% (946 votes)
Oreta M. Tupola – 5.56% (420 votes)
