Eagle Mountain City is proud to celebrate Arbor Day this year with a community tree planting event at Cory Wride Park, located adjacent to the soccer fields. Residents are invited to join city staff and volunteers beginning at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026.

At the April 7, 2026 City Council meeting, Mayor Jared Gray and the Eagle Mountain City Council formally proclaimed April 24, 2026 as Arbor Day in Eagle Mountain City, urging all citizens to celebrate the day and support efforts to protect our trees and woodlands for this and future generations.

Between 20 and 30 trees will be planted at this year’s event, adding to the beauty and health of our community’s green spaces. Eagle Mountain City has held the “Tree City USA” designation from the Arbor Day Foundation since 2018.

Volunteers of all ages and experience levels are welcome and encouraged to participate. Please remember to bring gloves and a shovel.

To sign up or for more information, please email aboydston@eaglemountain.gov.

Together, we can continue to beautify our city and protect its green spaces for generations to come.
