Vandalism and graffiti lead to restroom closure at Smith Ranch Park
Smith Ranch Park has become the target of repeated vandalism and graffiti, prompting the Eagle Mountain City Parks department to close the park’s restrooms until further notice.
The decision follows ongoing damage to park facilities, including the defacement of restroom walls and windows.
Smith Ranch Park, which opened earlier this year, has been a popular spot for residents and visitors to enjoy in the community. The recent damage has disrupted access to the restrooms and other park equipment.
Eagle Mountain City is urging residents to report any instances of vandalism or suspicious activity.
If residents witness vandalism taking place at Smith Ranch Park or elsewhere in the city, please contact the Utah County Sheriff’s Office immediately. Residents should not intervene directly but should make sure law enforcement is called as soon as possible.
Increased vigilance from the community will help deter future incidents. Until repairs and restoration can be made, the restroom facilities will remain closed.
