Emergency Management
Keeping Eagle Mountain safe
Help protect your neighbors
As a City, we are passionate about emergency management. We have many resources for residents to be prepared for whatever may happen. With resident involvement, we can more effectively protect you and your property in an emergency.
Be Prepared
Emergency Preparedness Plan
Read the Eagle Mountain City Emergency Preparedness Plan. We have considered the emergency needs of residents to respond to disasters effectively.
Emergency Resources
Community Emergency Response Team
The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is an opportunity for residents to learn valuable skills used during disaster response.
The training enables residents to assist others in their neighborhood or workplace when professional responders are not immediately available to help. Some of the skills include fire safety, light search & rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.
For more information on upcoming CERT Trainings, email Dave Ulibarri at dulibarri@eaglemountain.gov.
HAM Radio
The Eagle Mountain City Amateur Radio Team welcomes amateur radio operators as well as communication, electronics, hardware, and software enthusiasts. Not only is amateur radio a fun hobby, but having amateur radio operators is an important safety net for effective communications in case a disaster impacts other methods of communication.

Exam
The FCC exam fee is $35. To receive details and register, send an email to Ki6oss6365@gmail.com. We recommend going through the flash cards and practice tests at www.hamstudy.org. The questions on the website are identical to what you will see on the actual exam so you will be set up to succeed.
Emergency Operations Plan
Having a comprehensive and well-practiced emergency plan is crucial for minimizing the impact of unforeseen events. The Emergency Operations enables the City to respond quickly, mitigate damage, and recover efficiently. By establishing clear roles and procedures, the plan ensures that City personnel, first responders, and community partners work together seamlessly.
