Mountain View Corridor and Pioneer Crossing construction update
The Mountain View Corridor and Pioneer Crossing construction project is nearly complete, with 99% of the work finished as of now.
All remaining construction is on track to conclude by Monday, Dec. 23, when traffic control panels will be removed, and all new and existing traffic lanes will be fully open and operational.
As part of the final stages, the eastbound stop bar on Cory B. Wride Parkway/Pioneer Crossing at Mountain View Corridor will be replaced. The current two-foot-wide white thermoplastic stop bar needs to be adjusted to properly cover the dedicated right-turn lane. This work was scheduled took place Dec. 20 and was completed Saturday morning.
During this time, drivers should watch for lane shifts and traffic control panels in the area to ensure safety while crews re-establish the stop bar across all lanes.
Additionally, on Monday, Dec. 16, project engineers, contractors, and UDOT representatives conducted a walkthrough to identify any minor adjustments or corrections needed before the project’s completion. This “punch list” includes only a few small items, underscoring the project’s near-final status.
Eagle Mountain City appreciates residents’ patience and cooperation throughout the construction process. The improvements to Mountain View Corridor and Pioneer Crossing will enhance traffic flow and safety, benefiting the entire community.
