EM Library offers Mometrix eLibrary for test and certification prep

The Eagle Mountain Public Library recently announced the addition of the Mometrix eLibrary to its digital resources.

Mometrix is designed to provide patrons with extensive test preparation materials, accessible from home 24/7.

The service offers study guides, practice tests and video tutorials for over 50 standardized exams, including college entrance exams like the SAT and ACT, as well as professional certifications across various industries.

“We’re excited to offer this new online resource that allows a range of test prep materials our residents can use at their convenience,” Kristin Allred, assistant library director said.

Mometrix eLibrary is also designed to accommodate different learning styles by providing online study guides, tutorials and practice tests.

To access Mometrix eLibrary, residents need a current Eagle Mountain Library card and can find the platform under “Featured Resources” on the library’s web page on the Eagle Mountain City website.

This service addresses previous challenges the library faced in maintaining up-to-date physical test prep materials due to cost and limited shelf space.

Allred says the library is getting creative with how they offer materials to residents.

 “We put focus on purchasing and providing items that are popular or have been requested by our residents,” says Allred. “Being able to offer an expanded digital collection has helped us provide additional resources for our community.”

 According to Mometrix Test Preparation, they have helped over 150 million test-takers and have garnered over 40,000 five-star reviews, reflecting a high level of customer satisfaction.

Library Director Michele Graves emphasized the importance of community feedback prior to implementing and incorporating Mometrix as a service of the library.

“We appreciate suggestions for our renewal next year on test prep guides we may have missed,” Graves said. “Continued use of this platform will also allow us to expand additional offerings in the future.”

Whether preparing for academic exams or professional certifications, Eagle Mountain residents now have a valuable tool at their disposal to support their educational and career advancement.
