Eagle Mountain City is making it easier for public employees and other eligible applicants to achieve homeownership through an expanded Mortgage Assistance Program.

This program provides up to $25,000 in assistance for first-time homebuyers who serve our community, including teachers, firefighters, and law enforcement officers. Public employees can also benefit from loan forgiveness incentives for long-term homeownership and employment.Funding is from state-authorized Redevelopment Agency dollars for affordable housing.

To give more people the opportunity to apply, the City is moving to a monthly application cycle starting in April. The first application period runs April 1-15, with additional chances to apply each month throughout 2025.

Testimonials

Still has open spaces with outdoor recreation opportunities and still a safe place for wildlife. I hope that never changes. I love that my kids can leave the house and have outdoor adventures in the hills.

We love Eagle Mountain. It has the small, close-knit feel but is close to everything.

Eagle Mountain has been a great place to live. I love the open space for hiking, biking, and exploring nature with my kids in our own backyard. The area is kid-friendly with plenty of parks.
