Eagle Mountain’s parks, trails, and recreation programs bring families together, keep kids active, and help us all feel connected. To keep these amenities in alignments with our community’s needs, a reliable funding source is needed. That’s where the RAP Tax comes in.
It’s a small sales tax (1 penny for every $10 spent) that stays here in Eagle Mountain to improve playgrounds, maintain trails, and support local recreation and arts. It’s a way for all of us to improve the places we love.

Depending on the year, late summer storms in Eagle Mountain can bring sudden downpours that overwhelm gutters and drainage systems. To help protect your property, please:
🔹 Clear your gutters and storm drains
🔹 Point downspouts away from window wells
🔹 Check low-lying areas for pooling water
The City has sandbags available if needed. Call the EM Hotline at 801-789-5959 (Option 4) to request them.

The Summer Bash was a blast and the laser show did not disappoint! The Eagle Mountain community knows how to party.

Testimonials
Still has open spaces with outdoor recreation opportunities and still a safe place for wildlife. I hope that never changes. I love that my kids can leave the house and have outdoor adventures in the hills.
We love Eagle Mountain. It has the small, close-knit feel but is close to everything.
Eagle Mountain has been a great place to live. I love the open space for hiking, biking, and exploring nature with my kids in our own backyard. The area is kid-friendly with plenty of parks.
